Kathleen (Kat) Bradley is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing integrative, evidence-based mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults across Maryland. Her work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience.
Kat brings a broad clinical background that includes emergency medicine, acute psychiatric care, forensic nursing, and work with diverse and underserved populations, including individuals involved in the criminal justice system. She also has experience in nursing education, including mentoring students and serving as a guest lecturer.
Her approach blends psychopharmacology with thoughtful, whole-person care. Kat values the balance of science and humanity and works collaboratively with clients to explore the biological, emotional, and behavioral layers of mental health. She supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and PTSD, addiction and substance use, sleep concerns, chronic stress, and major life transitions. Medication management is always approached as a collaborative process, with clear education and shared decision-making.
Kat offers developmentally appropriate psychiatric care in a way that feels safe, nurturing, and non-judgmental. Her approach to working with younger clients is collaborative and may include involvement of caregivers or support systems when appropriate. She prioritizes helping young people build coping skills, emotional awareness, and resilience while feeling understood and supported.
Across all ages, Kat is committed to creating an environment where clients feel included in their care, informed about their options, and supported in choosing a path that aligns with their needs and values. She believes no one should feel judged or defined by their past, and her role is to meet each person with curiosity, understanding, and respect.
Outside of her clinical work, Kat is a mother to two daughters. She enjoys reading, documentaries, traveling, concerts, and spending time with her family. She also loves collecting crystals and exploring astronomy, astrology, and anything that sparks curiosity and meaning.
