Mariko is a clinical intern from Loyola University Clinical Professional Counseling program who is passionate about providing you with the mental health care you need under the supervision of experienced and licensed clinicians.

She finds it rewarding to work with people at various transitional stages, who are experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, who are looking for change and personal growth, and individuals in caregiver roles: parents, partners, or caregivers of elderly adults or individuals with mental or physical disabilities.

With a nonjudgmental and self-compassionate approach, she is committed to helping you feel safe and supported throughout your journey. Through working together you will enhance your capacity to handle stress, navigate life transitions, and increase self confidence.

Mariko prides herself in being someone who is down-to-earth, open-minded, warm, and has a sense of humor. Mariko is fluent in both English and Japanese.
