The Impact of Empathy

“The most helpful part of my experience with therapy at JWE was the counselor herself, followed by the support staff. I would say if you are considering therapy that JWE is a safe and supportive environment. Therapy can open so many doors and help you work through life's challenges”

"Therapy has helped me through both the lighter and heavier times in my adult life. It can be intimidating not knowing where to begin, but your therapist will help guide you through. It is so valuable to talk to someone that isn't within your personal support network so that you can be honest with yourself and work on reframing things to improve your mental health."

"Jen was truly a guiding light through employment, friends/family or financial conflicts that I was experiencing. She validated my feelings and concerns and helped push me in the right direction when I needed it."

Jamie is a great active listener. She listens without judgement and helps me to understand why I may be feeling certain emotions and how they can inform me in my problem solving. The skill of using reflection/processing to help discover/develop solutions I am comfortable with is a tool she has helped me develop. It has certainly made my confidence in myself grow since starting therapy with her.

Jamie is such an amazing therapist and has been so helpful! She has given me such a safe space and obviously really cares. I always leave therapy with new insights to my experiences and feeling more compassionate to myself and others.

Jamie has helped me not only reconnect with my sense of purpose, but also learn to fully accept and embrace who I am. What makes Jamie so special is her ability to create a space where I felt safe enough to explore the parts of myself I used to see as flaws. With her support, I’ve started to see those same qualities as sources of strength.
